• What to use the money for?

    The money given for social charity and religion was being spent on other works, so Dayanand directs to use the money for the upliftment of social life -

    Spend the money received on three things. 1. In propagating knowledge and books regarding the Vedas. 2. In helping the meetings that teach virtue. 3. In helping the poor and the needy.

  • Body only for charity

    There were 44 fatal attacks on Dayanand, people used advise swamiji to hire security guard but Dayanand declined. Till the end he neither kept any guard nor got any government protection, but there was no fear of being killed at all, but it is sad.

    I do not regret that my body should be destroyed, but I am sad that the welfare for which I protect this body will remain unfulfilled

  • About making outsiders gurus for women

    Rishi Dayanand had by then recognized the character of the so-called Babas, when he saw the mess in his constant travels, especially in religious places, so he gave this advice -

    One day, after receiving special permission, some women went to Swamiji in the afternoon with the intention of listening to the sermon and asked Swamiji how can knowledge and peace be achieved? Swamiji told them, "Your husband is your Guru, you should serve him only, do not make any Sadhu your Guru and gain true knowledge. You send your husbands here and benefit from our teachings through them." After that day Swamiji stopped women visiting him.
